A shocking case of suicide has come to light in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. Here a woman, fed up with her husband’s affair, committed suicide by hanging herself. Before committing suicide, he himself told the entire story of the torture he was facing. The woman wrote a suicide note in Marathi on both her hands, in which she accused her husband and his lover of harassing her. The police have arrested the husband and his girlfriend.
Know the whole matter
The entire incident took place in Silver Spring area of Tejaji Nagar police station area. 40 year old Kavita, who lived here, committed suicide after being upset with the infidelity of her husband Pankaj Patil. Kavita’s body was found hanging from the noose of the house on Monday afternoon. Before committing suicide, Kavita had written the names of Pankaj and his girlfriend Namrata on her reverse hand and held them responsible for her death.
Actually, the husband had fallen in love with his own wife’s childhood friend. When the wife came to know about her husband’s affair, there were frequent disputes between them.
Story of torture written on body
Kavita has two daughters. One daughter is studying in Indore and the other in Pune. Before committing suicide, he had written a suicide note in Marathi on his body. The deceased wrote the names of those responsible for her death on both her hands. In the suicide note written in her hand, Kavita wrote that because of her humility, her husband Pankaj Patil used to beat her mercilessly. There used to be disputes over every small thing.
It is being told that an affair was going on between Namrata and Pankaj for 2 years. Not only this, the family members of the deceased have also made serious allegations against the in-laws. Police have arrested the accused woman Namrata and husband Pankaj in this case. At present the police is investigating the matter.
Namrata works as a nutrition dietitian
Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police Rajesh Dandotiya said that the woman committed suicide by writing on her hand the story of alleged torture by her husband and his girlfriend in Marathi language, which the police considered a ‘suicide note’ and arrested both the accused. He told that on the basis of this ‘suicide note’, a case was registered against Kavita’s husband and his girlfriend under section 306 (abetment of suicide) of the Indian Penal Code. Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police said that both the accused have been arrested and a detailed investigation is being done into the case of the death of the married woman. Namrata works as a nutrition dietician and her husband Pankaj Patil does private work in a factory in Pithampur.
