A shocking incident has occurred in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. A young man allegedly strangled his girlfriend to death in the Dwarkapuri police station area. According to police, the incident occurred in a rented room in Uncle Wali Gali, Dwarkapuri, where the body of a 24-year-old woman was found under suspicious circumstances. Initial investigations have revealed that the woman’s boyfriend, Piyush, is accused of the murder, and he has been absconding since the incident.

According to reports, the woman was originally from the Padhrinath police station area and was pursuing an MBA. During their studies, she met Piyush, and the two developed a love relationship. Some time ago, the woman left her home and moved into Piyush’s rented room in the Dwarkapuri area to live with him. Her family had already filed a missing person complaint at the Padhrinath police station.
The incident came to light when a strong odor emanating from the room raised suspicion among nearby residents. They immediately informed the Dwarkapuri police. Police arrived at the scene, broke down the door, and found the girl lying dead. Signs of a struggle were also found in the room, raising suspicions that the murder had occurred a few days earlier.
The deceased’s father made serious allegations, stating that Piyush had been mentally and physically abusing his daughter for a long time. He claimed that the accused had made objectionable videos of the girl and circulated them on a college group and was continuously blackmailing her. The family alleges that due to this dispute, Piyush strangled the girl to death and fled.

DCP Krishna Kumar Chandni stated that the police have registered a murder case and begun an investigation. Teams have been formed to search for the accused, and raids are being conducted at possible hideouts. He said that preliminary evidence and circumstances point to the woman’s murder, although the final cause of death will only be clear after a post-mortem report and forensic examination. Officials say the accused will be arrested soon and the case will be solved.
