After the complaint, the Moghat police station registered a case against the girl and started searching for her. Actually, Ehtesham Khan, a resident of Khandwa, reached Moghat police station and lodged a complaint that his wife Nikhat Hashmi scares him by talking about complaining to the police. She threatens him for money and has taken money from him many times.
Ehtesham told that Nikhat befriended him by laying a trap of honeytrap four years ago. Then got married in 2021. She stayed at home for 17 days after marriage. During this time, she looted lakhs of rupees from him on different pretexts and on the 18th day, Nikhat absconded with goods worth Rs 7.5 lakh including gold and silver jewelry, rupees kept in the house. Ehtesham narrated his ordeal and told that after this the woman targeted a jewellery businessman from Kolkata. She first befriended the businessman in the name of Urvashi Agarwal and then married him by becoming Nargis.
First trapped Ehtesham
Two months after the marriage, the girl robbed crores of rupees from the businessman and disappeared from Kolkata. The girl also had fake Aadhaar cards and voter ID cards in two names. Victim Ehtesham told that I met Nikhat in Indore through a friend. She told me her name was Nikhat. Nikhat lived in a rented apartment in Indore. She took 22 lakh rupees from me sometimes in the name of mother’s treatment and sometimes in the name of education of her siblings. Then she stayed at home for 17 days after marriage, but on the 18th day she left the house with jewellery worth Rs 5 lakh and Rs 2.5 lakh in cash.
Also robbed a businessman from Kolkata
After this she robbed a businessman in Kolkata. Even the police were stunned after hearing Nikhat’s story. Then on the complaint of Ehtesham, a resident of Khandwa, the Moghat Road police station of Khandwa registered a case. Along with this, the police also recorded the statement of the youth from Kolkata. Regarding the incident, Khandwa City SP Abhinav Barange said that on the complaint of Ehtesham, a case has been registered against his wife Nikhat under various sections including fraud. At the same time, the youth from Kolkata also said in his statement that he has also been cheated. He has been defrauded of two to three crore rupees. The police is investigating the case. The police is searching for the female accused. The woman will be arrested soon in this case.
