A police officer said that the mob attacked the police team that had come to take Firoz Ali, a suspect in a criminal case, into custody. In this attack, women and men attacked the police together. Some police personnel have suffered minor injuries during the attack. During this, people present in the crowd abused the police. He said that instructions have been given to take strict action against the accused.

Case registered against 18 people
The police officer said that even after the attack on the team, the team reached the police station with accused Ali in custody. He said that an FIR was filed against 18 people including 7 women in the attack on the police. Budhar police station SHO Sanjay Jaiswal said that a case has been registered against the accused under different sections.
