In fact, this gang has also become active in Rethi police station area of Katni district. Last night, this gang targeted the gold and silver shop of Laxman Soni located in Gol Bazar of Rethi. About 9 armed miscreants were seen trying to break the shutter of the shop. Due to the alertness of the neighbors and the security system of the shop, they could not succeed in their plans. The entire incident was captured in the CCTV camera installed in the shop. In which the actions of the miscreants can be clearly seen.

Immediately after the incident, panic and anger spread in the area. Local people reached Rethi police station in large numbers and protested against the negligence of the police. The angry people blocked the road and accused the police of trying to suppress the matter by calling it an attempt of petty theft. At the same time, it is clearly visible in the CCTV that if someone had come in front of them, all the thieves could have attacked with those weapons.
Police said – action will be taken soon
Seeing the seriousness of the incident, DSP Umrao Singh, who reached the spot, handled the situation and talked to the protesters and assured them of action. He said that the police is searching for this gang with full seriousness. The accused are being identified on the basis of CCTV footage and will be caught soon. However, the police has registered a case and started searching for the accused of Chaddi Baniyan Gang.
