Madhya Pradesh: Three workers died and one worker missing after a mine collapsed in Jabalpur

A major accident took place in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh. Three workers died due to the collapse of a mine here. This mine was about 20 feet deep. About three people are injured in this accident. While one worker is missing. Relief and rescue work is being done. This incident is from Katra Ramkhiya village of Gosalpur police station area.

Here the workers were extracting sand from the mine on the banks of the Barnu river. All the deceased are said to be residents of Katra. One worker is still missing since the accident, efforts are on to find him. Rescue teams have also reached the spot, relief and rescue work is being done at the moment. One of the three workers who died is also a woman.

Illegal mining was going on
Although the administration has increased strictness against illegal sand mining mafias, but despite that illegal mining work is going on in full swing. According to the information, here also a sand mafia was getting sand mining work done by these workers illegally. This accident happened at that time. The police have started investigation in the matter.

Seven people were buried in the accident
According to ASP Sonali Dubey, illegal sand excavation was being done here. This accident happened during this time. 7 people were buried in the accident, out of which three people died and three were injured. One has not been found yet. Search is going on. Along with this, strict action will be taken on the entire matter.
