Maharashtra: A 19-year-old boy threatened to kill CM Eknath Shinde and his son Shrikant Shinde, accused arrested.

Pune: A shocking case has come to light from Maharashtra. A 19-year-old boy has been arrested from Pune. This boy had threatened to kill CM Eknath Shinde and his son. The accused boy was arrested by Unit 9 of Mumbai Crime Branch.

What is the whole matter?
Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and MLA Shrikant Shinde had received death threats through social media. Police arrested the accused from Pune. According to sources, the accused has been identified as Shubham Warkad, aged 19 years.

According to the complaint received, the accused had threatened to kill the Chief Minister and his son by posting on social media platform X. The police have registered a case against the accused under sections 506(2) and 505(1)(B) of the IPC and have arrested him and started investigation.

Even in April 2023, CM Shinde was threatened with death. This threat was given by a person by calling the police control room. This person had threatened to blow up CM Shinde. Mumbai Police had traced the location of the accused based on the number and detained him.

CM Shinde has received threats many times before. He had also received a letter threatening to kill him.
