A case that is tearing apart the relationship between grandfather and granddaughter has come to light from Mumbai, Maharashtra. Here a grandfather was raping his granddaughter for the last 10 years. According to the victim, her grandfather had been doing this to her since she was 9 years old. Not only this, the accused grandfather also threatened to kill the victim’s granddaughter if she told anything to anyone. Now after 10 years, the victim told the whole story to her family, after which the police has arrested the accused.

The name of the accused elderly is Isma, who is 58 years old. The age of the victim is 19 years. According to the victim, this is her step grandfather, who used to commit this horrific incident with her since 2014. At that time the victim was only 9 years old. The accused lives at a short distance from the victim’s house.

What did the police tell?
According to the police, when the victim was alone at home, he would enter her house and rape her. Not only this, when the scared victim protested against this, the accused threatened to kill her. He was doing the same for the last 10 years. The victim girl was scared due to the harassment and threats given by the accused.

She continued to suffer pain for so many years but when this pain became unbearable for her, she thought of fighting against it. The victim thought of telling her parents about the entire incident and gathered courage and told everything to her parents. There was no limit to the anger of the parents after hearing that their daughter was treated like this. After this, the parents took the victim’s daughter to the police station, where they lodged a complaint against the accused. As soon as the information was received, the police team came into action mode. The police team has arrested the accused from Virar. The police have booked him under sections 376 (2) (f) (n), 354, 354 A, 323, 504 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code and sections 4, 6, 8, 10 and 12 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offenders Act. A case has been registered under this and further investigation is underway.
