Imambara police of Nagpur registered this case on the complaint of the girl. Allegedly, the accused IPS officer lured the victim into marriage and kept exploiting her for a long time. He refused when pressure was put on him for marriage. According to the information, the accused officer is a 2021 batch IPS officer, currently he is posted as Aklakuwa Sub-Divisional Police Officer in Nandurbar district.
Cousin sister also made accused
According to the information received from the police, the 28-year-old victim is a doctor. In this case, the cousin sister of the police officer has also been made an accused. The accused are originally from Yavatmal. Three years ago, the victim met the accused officer on Instagram, at that time the victim was studying MBBS and the accused was preparing for the UPSC exam. After chatting on Instagram, both of them took each other’s number and started meeting each other. It did not take long for friendship to turn into love. Meanwhile, the accused officer established a relationship with the victim, when the victim refused, he assured her of marriage and raped her against her will.
The victim had helped her financially many times
According to the information received, when the IPS officer was unemployed, the lady doctor had helped him financially many times. After passing the exam, he was selected as an IPS officer. The accused went to Hyderabad for training, during this time the lady doctor also went to Hyderabad. There also the accused made a relationship with the victim and when she (victim) talked about marriage, she refused.
