Maharashtra: A woman died due to fire in a residential building on NIBM Road in Kondhwa, Pune

Pune: A big news has come from Pune, Maharashtra. A fire has broken out in a residential building on NIBM Road in Kondhwa. 4 fire engines are present on the spot to douse this fire. The fire has been extinguished but due to this fire a woman has died and a woman is injured, she is undergoing treatment in the hospital.

The Pune Fire Department has given a statement on this incident and said, ‘A woman has died due to a fire in a residential building on NIBM Road in Kondhwa, Pune. The fire has been extinguished. An injured person is undergoing treatment.’

Fire broke out in Thane’s Hypercity Mall in January

Earlier in January, a sudden fire broke out in Hypercity Mall located in Ghodbunder Road complex in Thane district of Maharashtra. A sudden fire broke out in the Puma brand outlet located on the second floor of the mall at around 7:50 am. Fortunately, this incident happened in the morning and there were no customers present in the mall, due to which a major accident was averted.

As soon as the disaster department of Thane Municipal Corporation got information about the fire, it immediately reached the spot with a team. Apart from this, officials of Kasarvadavali police station also reached the spot with their team. To control the fire, the fire department sent a pickup fire vehicle, fire officer, a rescue vehicle and a high rise vehicle. After which the fire was brought under control.

Hypercity Mall is the main shopping destination of Ghodbunder Road. Usually a large number of people come here to buy garments and footwear. Especially Ghodbunder area is considered a high-profile area, where people also buy everyday essential items from here. If this incident had happened during the day and there were customers in the mall, it could have taken the form of a major accident.
