Only a few days are left for the Maharashtra Assembly elections. In view of this, All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) chief Asaduddin Owaisi, while addressing an election rally in Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar, launched a scathing attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his leadership. On PM Modi’s statement ‘Ek Hain To Safe Hain’, Owaisi said that I want to answer him that if there is justice, India is safe. If the Constitution is intact, equality will remain and if Dr. Ambedkar’s legacy is alive, India will be truly safe.
Maratha vs OBC in Maharashtra: Owaisi
Owaisi said in his speech, “Majlis is saying that we are many but we are united. Modi wants to unite us. RSS wants to unite us. I say if there is justice then India is safe. If there is constitution then there is respect. Ambedkar is alive then Godse is dead. All those who believe in Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj with true heart then there is love. What is PM Modi doing in Maharashtra elections, he is playing Maratha vs OBC. He is talking about one and we are talking about many. He wants to make everyone fight in the name of one.” PM Modi’s slogan ‘Ek Hain To Safe Hain’ in Dhule
In fact, while addressing a rally in Dhule for the Maharashtra assembly elections recently, PM Modi gave the slogan ‘Ek Hain To Safe Hain’ and said, “Congress is playing a dangerous game of pitting one caste against another. This game is being played because Congress can never see Dalits, backward and tribals progressing. This is the history of Congress. At the time of independence, Baba Saheb Ambedkar, during the rule of Congress, tried very hard to ensure that the oppressed and deprived get reservation, but Nehru ji was adamant that reservation will not be given to Dalits, backward and tribals at any cost. With great difficulty, Baba Saheb was able to make provision for reservation for Dalits and backward classes.” PM Modi further said, “After Nehru ji, Indira ji came, she also continued the same attitude against reservation. Her aim was also that SC, ST, OBC should not get representation at any cost. Think, how weak you will become by breaking into different castes, that is why I say – if you are united, you are safe. We have to stay united and foil the dangerous game of Congress and keep moving forward on the path of development.”
