This is being considered a big setback for Shiv Sena Uddhav Thackeray faction. MP Naresh Mhaske, communication chief Ravindra Phatak, Palghar district president Kundan Nazra were also present on this occasion.

Along with Hilal Mali, many people including sub-district head, sub-metropolitan head, panchayat committee member, former corporator have joined Shiv Sena. It is being said that with Hilal Mali joining the party, Shiv Sena has got a lot of strength in Dhule rural. Hilal Mali was angry with Shiv Sena Thackeray group since he did not get the candidature from Dhule rural, finally he has now joined Shiv Sena.
