CM Fadnavis’ new cabinet is ready in Nagpur, Maharashtra. The swearing-in ceremony of the new cabinet ministers was held on Sunday. A total of 39 MLAs were sworn in as ministers. With this, the number of members in the Council of Ministers of Maharashtra has now increased to 42. Earlier, Narendra Bhondekar, an MLA of Shiv Sena (Eknath Shinde faction), got upset over not getting a ministerial post and he resigned from the post of deputy leader of the party and coordinator of Vidarbha region, but Narendra Bhondekar has not yet resigned from the post of MLA.

Bhondekar got upset, made this claim

Along with resigning, Narendra Bhondekar claimed that he was promised a ministerial post earlier but he did not get any place in the cabinet. He said that I messaged Deputy CM and party leader Eknath Shinde, senior leader Uday Samant and Eknath Shinde’s son Shrikant Shinde several times but I did not get any response from them, what could I do, after this I resigned. Let us tell you that Bhondekar has been an MLA from Bhandara-Pauni assembly constituency thrice.

42 ministers got place in Fadnavis cabinet

Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis has finally finalized his cabinet three weeks after the assembly election results came out well. His cabinet includes 19 BJP, 11 Shiv Sena and 9 NCP MLAs. The new cabinet of 42 ministers, including CM Fadnavis and his two deputy CMs, is now ready to work.

Athawale, Bhujbal, Keskar also did not get place

PRI chief and Union Minister Ramdas Athawale was also expecting a ministerial post for his party, but he too has not got a place in Fadnavis’ cabinet. After this, Athawale has also said that he will talk to BJP leaders Amit Shah and JP Nadda on this issue. NCP leader Chhagan Bhujbal also did not get a place in the new cabinet, due to which he was not present in the party meeting before the swearing-in ceremony.

Along with these two leaders, former primary education minister of Shiv Sena Deepak Kesarkar also did not get a ministerial post and he also did not attend the swearing-in ceremony. He said, “Those who got the call, went, now as an MLA I have to go to the assembly session, and I will go.”
