Mamata said that the accident should be investigated under the supervision of the Supreme Court, as she has absolutely no faith in the investigating agencies.
The Congress party also raised several doubts regarding Ajit Pawar’s plane crash. Digvijay Singh said that a plane belonging to the same company whose flight Ajit Pawar was taking to Baramati had crashed in 2023. What happened to the investigation report? Why hasn’t the report been released? And despite a previous crash, who gave VSR Ventures permission to operate chartered flights? The answers to all these questions will only be found when an impartial investigation is conducted.
Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav also supported CM Mamata Banerjee’s demand. Akhilesh said that questions naturally arise regarding the death of such a prominent leader, and an impartial investigation will reveal the truth.

The Maharashtra Chief Minister expressed his displeasure over the politics surrounding Ajit Pawar’s death and responded to CM Mamata Banerjee. Devendra Fadnavis held up a mirror to Mamata Banerjee. Fadnavis said, “It is not right to politicize someone’s death. Before making such allegations, Mamata Didi should have at least listened to what Sharad Pawar had to say.” It is worth noting that on Wednesday evening, Sharad Pawar had put an end to all speculation and said that it was an accident and that politics should not be played over it.

Regarding West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee’s statement on Ajit Pawar’s death, Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde said, “When such incidents happen, it is not appropriate to do politics in such a situation. This is unfortunate. Doing politics and saying that there is a conspiracy involved is extremely unfortunate. Sharad Pawar himself has clarified that it was merely an accident, and there is no conspiracy involved. Maharashtra is completely immersed in sorrow. We saw today that thousands and lakhs of people were present there, chanting ‘Ajit Dada, Ajit Dada’. Creating suspicion and making allegations when such an accident occurs is painful for the family and the people of Maharashtra. There is plenty of time and many opportunities for politics. At such a time, if someone from outside says something or makes allegations, it is not appropriate, it is wrong. No one should politicize this, no one should try to take advantage of this for political gain.”
