Maharashtra Politics: In Maharashtra, Eknath Shinde faction’s Shiv Sena leader Gajanan Kirtikar has given a big statement. He has said that it is the wish of countless Shiv Sainiks of Maharashtra that Raj Thackeray and Uddhav Thackeray come together. Along with this, he also said that Uddhav Thackeray’s Shiv Sena, Eknath Shinde’s Shiv Sena and Raj Thackeray’s MNS should also come together. Akhand Shiv Sena should be reorganized.
Shiv Sena leader and Balasaheb’s old Shiv Sainik Gajanan Kirtikar said, “Even when Balasaheb Thackeray was alive, there was an attempt to unite Raj Thackeray and Uddhav Thackeray but Shiv Sena was divided. Shiv Sena suffered due to Shiv Sena and MNS being separate. Now is the time for these two to come together. Thackeray name is a brand, and that brand should remain. This is the wish of old Shiv Sainiks.”
What did Gajanan Kirtikar say?
Shinde faction leader Gajanan Kirtikar said, “Will these two (Uddhav Thackeray-Raj Thackeray) come together? I don’t know, but I have heard that both have put forward some conditions. Uddhav Thackeray has said that Raj Thackeray should leave Mahayuti (BJP alliance), while Raj has said that Uddhav should leave Congress. Both are right.” Gajanan Kirtikar had also campaigned for Eknath Shinde’s Shiv Sena during the Lok Sabha elections and re-entered Shiv Sena in Shinde’s presence.
Today there are two Shiv Senas
1. Uddhav Thackeray’s Shiv Sena (UBT), which is with MVA. MVA has Congress, Shiv Sena (UBT) and Sharad Pawar’s party NCP (SP).
2. Eknath Shinde faction’s party Shiv Sena, which is with Mahayuti. It has BJP, Shinde faction’s Shiv Sena and Ajit Pawar’s NCP.
‘Many obstacles due to being with BJP’
Kirtikar said, “Eknath Shinde had left the party with the ideology of Shiv Sena chief Balasaheb – like Hindutva, aggressive style, nationalism and all-round development of Marathi people, but due to being with BJP, he faces many obstacles in moving forward. The conditions of both (Uddhav-Raj) are right, because these are the obstacles that are preventing the formation of Akhand Shiv Sena. Until these are not removed, a strong Shiv Sena will not be formed.” NDA first had Uddhav Thackeray’s Shiv Sena, then he left, and then Eknath Shinde joined it. Both talk about taking Balasaheb’s ideology forward. But voters and workers know Balasaheb’s Shiv Sena, not BJP or Congress inspired Shiv Sena. So if the real Shiv Sena has to be re-established, then these three (Raj-Uddhav-Shinde) will have to leave their respective alliances.”
‘If Raj-Uddhav and Shinde unite, then Shiv Sena will be strong’
Gajanan Kirtikar also said, ”Balasaheb himself wanted Raj and Uddhav to be together. He was already aware of the danger of this division. Today if Raj and Uddhav are taking a stand to unite, then that is a good sign but if we want to see Balasaheb’s fierce, influential Shiv Sena again, then Eknath Shinde should also be included in it. If Raj, Uddhav and Shinde come together, then only a strong Shiv Sena will be seen. This is needed in Maharashtra and It belongs to Shiv Sainiks.”
