Big leakage in Nira left canal here
On the other hand, there has been a big leakage in the Nira left canal in Pimpali Limtech flowing from Baramati tehsil. All the water of the canal has entered the houses and fields of the citizens. This has caused huge losses. The Tehsildar of the area, Ganesh Shinde, has appealed to the citizens that people should not leave the house without any important work. The Tehsildar has said that people should leave the house only in case of emergency. Water flow increased a lot in the canal
All the water of the Nira Left Canal has entered the fields and houses of the nearby citizens, causing huge losses. The rotation of the canal (flow of water) was already on and due to the torrential rain from above, the water flow in the canal had increased a lot, which caused this leakage. As soon as the leakage was reported in the Pimpali Limtech area, the Water Resources Department has immediately decided to close the Nira Left Canal.
