Nagpur: Police has arrested a 20-year-old boy in Nagpur, Maharashtra. After raping a 16-year-old girl, this boy sent the video clip to her father. The accused has been identified as Prajyot Harihar Bawandole, a resident of Shanti Nagar area of Nagpur. It is being told that he was in a relationship with a minor girl for a few months.
Police said that the relationship between the accused and the victim had ended. After promising marriage, the boy had physical relations with the victim and then made a video of her. After this it was sent to the girl’s father through WhatsApp. This boy is currently studying in B.Com. After the complaint of the girl’s father, the police arrested Prajyoti on rape charges. A case has been registered against him under IPC and POCSO Act. Apart from this, a case has been registered under the IT Act.
Neighbor raped minor girls
Let us tell you that last year Nagpur city was shaken by the incident of rape of minor girls. Two girls, aged 10 and 11 years, were playing outside their house. A middle-aged man living in their area took them with him and then raped them. At the same time, when the third girl saw his action, she threatened to kill him. These girls went home and informed their families about the entire incident.
A girl playing outside the house was taken away in an e-rickshaw.
On the same day when this incident took place, a 30-year-old man living in the neighborhood called a seven-year-old girl who was playing outside the house, took her somewhere in an e-rickshaw and then raped her. The girl later narrated her ordeal to her mother crying. After this the police arrested the accused.
