Voting has ended in Maharashtra and Jharkhand. 65.11 percent voting took place on Wednesday in 288 seats of Maharashtra. The highest voting was 76.25 percent in Kolhapur and the lowest votes were cast in Mumbai City (52.07%). At the same time, 68.45 percent voting took place in 38 seats of the second phase in Jharkhand. The highest voting took place in Jamtara 77.29 and the lowest voting took place in Bokaro (63.22 percent).
More voting took place in both the states as compared to 2019. Actually, voting was held in a single phase in Maharashtra while votes were cast in two phases on 81 assembly seats of Jharkhand. The first phase of voting here was held on 13 November. More than 66% votes were cast on 43 seats of the first phase. 61.44% voting was recorded in Maharashtra in 2019.
What does the exit poll say
Most exit polls predict that NDA i.e. Mahayuti government can be formed in Maharashtra. At the same time, one exit poll predicts that Mahavikas Aghadi (MVA) government can be formed in Maharashtra. In all three exit polls of Matrize, Republic P-Mark, Peoples Plus, Mahayuti government is seen to be formed in Maharashtra. Mega Lokpal exit poll predicts that Maha Vikas Aghadi government can be formed in the state. At the same time, if we talk about Jharkhand, here too India alliance seems to be getting a shock.
In most exit polls, NDA is likely to win. In the poll of polls, a competition is seen between INDIA and NDA. In the exit poll of Axis My India, India alliance is expected to get majority in Jharkhand. India alliance can get 53 seats. At the same time, NDA may have to be satisfied with only 25 seats. Three seats can go to others.

50 to 70 percent voting took place on Wednesday in by-elections on 15 assembly seats in Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Kerala and Uttarakhand. Voting took place in Katehri, Karhal, Meerapur, Ghaziabad, Majhawan, Sisamau, Khair, Phulpur and Kundarki seats in Uttar Pradesh, Gidderbaha, Dera Baba Nanak, Chabbewal (reserved) and Barnala seats in Punjab, Palakkad in Kerala and Kedarnath seat in Uttarakhand.
