Mahavikas Aghadi has released its manifesto for the Maharashtra assembly elections. Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, Rahul Gandhi, Shiv Sena (UTB) President Uddhav Thackeray and NCP (SP) chief Sharad Pawar released the MVA manifesto during a program. In this manifesto, Mahavikas Aghadi has made many election promises to woo voters in Maharashtra, in which special focus has been given on women, farmers and youth.
What are the promises in the manifesto
The manifesto states that people will be given health insurance of 25 lakhs, women will get three thousand rupees every month and guarantee of equality, along with caste census and it will be increased by removing 50 percent reservation. Farmers will be given loan waiver of up to three lakh rupees and an incentive amount of fifty thousand for regular loan repayment. Youth will be given four thousand unemployment allowance every month.
Releasing the manifesto, Rahul Gandhi said that in our coalition government, every month three thousand women will be transferred to their bank accounts. Women will be given free bus service in state transport. As soon as our government is formed in the country, we will break the reservation ceiling of 50 percent. Government will be formed in Maharashtra too and we will conduct caste census. Rahul Gandhi said that I assure that no one can abolish the Constitution.
10 guarantees of Mahayuti
- The amount of Ladli Behan Yojana will be increased from Rs 1500 to Rs 2100.
- 25,000 women will be deployed in the police force for women’s safety.
- Promise of loan waiver to farmers and Rs 15,000 every year through Kisan Samman Yojana, 20 percent subsidy on MSP.
- Promise to ensure access to food and shelter for every needy person under the Food and Shelter for All scheme.
- Promise to increase the old age pension holders from Rs 1500 to Rs 2100 every month.
- Promise to maintain stable prices for essential commodities. -Promise of 25 lakh jobs every month in the form of employment and educational assistance for students, Rs 10,000 tuition fees every month to 10 lakh students.
- Promise of construction of roads in 45 thousand villages.
- Promise of Rs 15,000 salary and security to Anganwadi and Asha workers, promise to increase monthly salary to Rs 15,000.
- Promise of 30 percent reduction in electricity bill.
- Promise to complete Vision Maharashtra 2029 within 100 days.
