A major lapse in the security of Union Home Minister Amit Shah has come to light in Maharashtra’s capital Mumbai. Mumbai Police has arrested a 53-year-old man for forcibly entering Amit Shah’s meeting with BJP workers in a hotel. The accused has been identified as Shakti Prakash Bhargava, a resident of Kanpur.
Entered by showing fake media ID card
The accused had allegedly used a fake media ID card to enter the high-security event at a hotel in Bandra Kurla Complex on Sunday. While Shah’s press conference was going on, the accused suddenly came near the stage. He tried to attack himself with a sharp weapon.
The accused also attacked himself
Seeing this, the police immediately detained the accused. He was investigated and it was found that he was a fake journalist. He had entered the press conference with a wrong name. He had attacked himself, so the police first sent him to the hospital for treatment. After that, a newspaper in whose name the accused had entered Amit Shah’s press conference. When his reporter was questioned, it was found that he had nothing to do with the private newspaper.
This is how his real name was revealed
When the accused was questioned after being brought back to the police station, his belongings were checked as he was not giving proper answers. The police found an Aadhar card from him. The real name of the accused, Shakti Prakash Bhargava, was written on it. The accused is 54 years old.
