A sensational revelation has been made in the case of murder of a female doctor in Nagpur, Maharashtra. Police have arrested her husband and brother-in-law, claiming to have solved the murder. An attempt was made to portray this murder as a robbery-related crime, but the police, while giving information, called it a planned murder.
According to the police, the deceased Dr. Archana was working as an assistant professor in the physiotherapy department at the Government Medical College and Hospital in Nagpur. At the same time, the woman’s husband Dr. Anil Rahule teaches in a private medical college in Raipur. Police said that Anil suspected his wife’s character, due to which there was often a fight between the two. Anil often fought with his wife and beat her.
How was the murder plot hatched?
Police officials said that Anil had hatched a conspiracy to murder his wife along with his brother Raju Rahule. On April 9, Anil called Raju to his house in Ladikar Layout, Nagpur. As per the plan, Anil grabbed his wife Archana’s leg and threw her on the ground. After this, his brother Raju attacked her on the head with an iron rod. Archana died on the spot after the attack with the rod.
To hide the murder, both the brothers locked the door from outside using the central locking system of the house and fled from the spot. On April 12, Anil returned home again and deliberately made noise, so that it could be shown that he came to know about the murder at that time. He called the neighbors and then informed the police, due to which it seemed like a case of robbery at first glance.
Police got suspicious after seeing the dead body
However, the police found some things suspicious in the initial investigation itself. The police got suspicious when they saw that the body had decayed. Seeing the condition of the body, it became clear that the murder had happened earlier. Apart from this, the police found Anil’s behavior unusual. Anil was restless and was pretending to be unconscious. When the police officers interrogated Anil strictly, he confessed his crime. After this, his brother Raju was also arrested. Currently, the police is investigating whether there was any other motive behind the murder.
