About 20 shops were damaged in a fire in a market in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Maharashtra on Thursday morning. An official gave this information. The official said that there is no report of loss of life in this incident. A fire official said that a fire broke out in the market located at Central Naka in Azad Chowk area at around 5 am. There are many furniture shops in this area. The official said that 15 to 20 shops were damaged due to the fire. He said, “We received information about the fire at around 5.30 am and six fire engines were sent to the spot.”
Causes of fire are not known
The official said that later some fire engines of Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC) and ‘Garware Industries’ also reached the spot to help extinguish the fire. He said that efforts are on to extinguish the fire, the cause of the fire has not been ascertained yet. If we talk about the number of injured, 5 civilians have been injured in this violence. They were admitted to the government hospital in Nagpur. Out of 5, 3 have been discharged after treatment. Two are undergoing treatment. One of them is in ICU. 33 police personnel and officers have been injured.
