Customs have seized smuggled goods worth a total of Rs 6.46 crore in 13 different cases. The smugglers had hidden the diamond in a packet of noodles, while the gold was found on the body of the passenger. Also, it was caught in the undergarments worn by a passenger in his bag.

According to news agency ANI, the smugglers had hidden the diamond in a packet of noodles, so that no one could suspect it, but it was caught during customs inspection. Customs has arrested a total of 4 people. Customs stopped a foreign national traveling from Colombo to Mumbai and after searching her, found 24KT gold bricks and a cut piece hidden inside her undergarments, the total weight of which is 321 grams.

More than 6 kg gold seized from 10 people
According to the information, 10 people coming from Dubai (02), Abu Dhabi (02), Bahrain (01), Doha (01), Riyadh (01), Muscat (01), Bangkok (01) and Singapore (01). During the stop and search, 6.199 kg of gold, worth Rs 4.04 crore, hidden inside his rectum and bag, was recovered. 3 people have been arrested in the case.

Diamond was hidden in a packet of noodles
In one such case, a man traveling from Mumbai to Bangkok was stopped and diamonds were found during search. He had cleverly hidden these diamonds in a packet of noodles inside his trolley bag. Of these, 254.71 carat natural loose diamond and 977.98 carat lab-grown diamond, worth Rs 2.02 crore, were recovered. After this the person was immediately arrested and sent to judicial custody.
