Maharashtra: One person died in fire in Lakra Market, Chor Bazaar, Grant Road, Mumbai.

Mumbai: A case of fire has come to light in South Mumbai on Friday morning. The flames were so strong that people came out of their homes. This case of fire is of Lakra Market located on Chor Bazaar Grant Road in South Mumbai. After the fire, there was an atmosphere of chaos at the spot. This fire broke out around 4:30 am on Friday morning. After the fire incident, local people informed the police and fire department about this matter.

18 fire engines present
After receiving the information, 18 fire brigade vehicles reached the spot. All the vehicles started trying to extinguish the fire. It has been reported that the fire was brought under control some time ago. Due to the fire, a wooden godown measuring 6000 to 7000 square feet has been burnt. Due to this, there has been a cloud of smoke in the adjacent areas. After this fire incident, many high rise buildings and Platinum Mall have been evacuated. People were facing difficulty in breathing due to the smoke rising due to the fire.

After the fire, the body of a person was also found in the debris. However, the youth has not been identified yet. After the body was found, it was taken to JJ Hospital. After this, the cooling air search operation is now going on in the debris. The scene after the fire looks very frightening. It can be seen in the video that a large number of people are present at the spot. Flames of fire are also seen rising into the sky. Amidst this incident of fire, people also tried to control it, but the fire department had to be called.
