Maharashtra Politics: Union Home Minister Amit Shah held a meeting with Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and Deputy Chief Ministers Devendra Fadnavis and Ajit Pawar late night on Sunday (September 8). Amit Shah, who arrived in Maharashtra on a two-day visit, met CM Shinde, Devendra Fadnavis and Ajit Pawar at Sahyadri State Guest House. BJP sources said that the response of the people to various government schemes before the assembly elections was discussed in the meeting.
Assembly elections in Maharashtra are likely to be held in October-November. He said that the recent controversial statements made by CM Shinde-led Shiv Sena and Nationalist Congress Party were also probably discussed. At the same time, in the Maharashtra BJP meeting, Amit Shah instructed BJP leaders to avoid public controversies.
Amit Shah said that if we are in Mahayuti, then we should exercise restraint and take care that the image of unity is presented to the public. Suitable candidates with the ability to win should be selected. He said that keep responding to the fake narratives of the opponents.

In the meeting with BJP leaders, Amit Shah also drew attention to the internal survey of BJP. Along with this, Amit Shah ordered the BJP leaders to convey the decisions and schemes taken by the state government to as many people as possible. Along with this, amid the celebration of Ganesh Chaturthi, Shah bowed before ‘Lalbaug Ke Raja’ (the idol of Lord Ganesha in the puja pandal). After this, he reached the house of Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and Chief Minister Eknath Shinde to have darshan of Bappa. Amit Shah’s family comes to Mumbai every year to bow at the feet of ‘Lalbaug Ke Raja’.

Shiv Sena UBT leader Sanjay Raut said about Amit Shah’s arrival in Mumbai that he should go to Manipur. He said, “Manipur is being attacked. Women are still being tortured in Manipur and the country’s Home Minister is having fun in Mumbai. Go to Manipur, go to Jammu and Kashmir. What is your work in Mumbai, show courage to go to Manipur.”
