Maharashtra: Rape of a minor girl who went to the mosque to drink water in Kalyan

An incident of rape of a minor girl who had gone to the mosque to drink water has come to light in Kalyan, Maharashtra. In this case, Kalyan Bazarpeth Police has arrested the accused named Akdas Chandu. The shocking thing is that Akdas had done such a thing with a minor girl a year ago. Now he has repeated his action again.

A 12-year-old girl living in Kalyan had gone to buy cake from a shop. When she felt thirsty in the scorching heat, she went to the mosque to drink water. After the girl went to the mosque, a man came behind her and pressed her face and forcibly took her to the bathroom of the mosque. He took the girl here and started raping her. When the victim girl started screaming, the accused ran away from there. After this the girl also ran away from there and somehow reached home. After going home the girl narrated the entire incident.

The accused is a food vendor
After hearing the girl’s ordeal, the victim girl’s family lodged a complaint against the accused Akdas Chandu at Kalyan Bazarpeth police station. According to this complaint, the police immediately registered the case and arrested Akdas Chandu. Akdas Chandu is a foodist by profession and a year ago also he had done the same with a girl. In such a situation, the surprising thing is why no action was taken against Chandu and how he continued roaming in the open.
