‘I had mentioned discrimination against the Muslim community’- Abu Azmi
The SP MLA said, “I had mentioned Wari Palkhi only in the context of discrimination against the Muslim community and their rights. It was not any kind of comparison and my intention and my demand were not inappropriate in any way.”

What did I say by referring to PM Modi?

He said, “My only intention was to draw the attention of the government to the fact that its double standards should not create a feeling in the minds of the minority community that there are different laws for them in this country– while our country’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself says ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas and Sabka Vishwas.’

In the end, Abu Azmi expressed his views by saying, “We will continue to fight strongly for the rights, respect and equality of the neglected society, but will never let the unity of the country be affected.”
