Along with this, another leader Rahul Patil has also been badly injured. Both the leaders are undergoing treatment at Jupiter Hospital.

BJP MLA opened fire
According to the information, this bullet was fired by BJP MLA Ganpat Gaikwad. Along with this, this entire incident took place in the Hill Line Police Station premises of Ulhasnagar. It is being told that there was a dispute going on between Mahesh Gaikwad and Ganpat Gaikwad for a long time. Both of them had reached Hill Line police station over some dispute and during the conversation, Ganpat shot Mahesh four times. Now the police has arrested the BJP MLA in this case.

Supporters gathered in the hospital
After this incident, injured Mahesh was admitted to Meera Hospital in Ulhasnagar, where after his condition became critical, he was shifted to Jupiter Hospital in Thane at 11 pm. As soon as the information about this incident was received, supporters of Mahesh Gaikwad started gathering. Now the situation is such that the entire hospital is filled with supporters.

There was a land dispute between the two leaders
According to primary information, there was a dispute going on between BJP MLA Ganpat Gaikwad and Shiv Sena city chief Mahesh Gaikwad due to a land dispute. Due to this dispute, both the leaders and their supporters had gathered at Hill Line police station. Meanwhile, a heated argument broke out between the two and firing took place inside the police station. BJP MLA Ganpat Gaikwad opened fire indiscriminately at Shiv Sena Shinde faction leader Mahesh Gaikwad.
