The leaders are not satisfied with the results of Maharashtra Lok Sabha elections till now. This can be said because the victory of Thane MP was challenged by the Uddhav Thackeray faction. However, the Bombay High Court rejected the petition after finding defects in it.

In fact, Uddhav Thackeray faction leader Rajan Vichare had filed a petition in the High Court claiming that the election of Eknath Shinde faction MP Naresh Mhaske should be cancelled because he had hidden the information about his criminal record in his affidavit.

After reading the petition, the High Court bench said that the reason for the action has not been given in the petition and there are many defects in it.

‘Conviction not disclosed’ – Uddhav Thackeray faction

The High Court accepted Naresh Mhaske’s argument
Naresh Mhaske told that he was released on probation without any imprisonment in this case. The High Court accepted this argument and said that the petitioner has failed to explain the reason for action in the election petition.
