Pune: A case of rape of a Bollywood actress has come to light in a resort in Pune. After the incident, when the victim put pressure on the accused for marriage, the accused put a pistol on her temple. This incident took place on the afternoon of 26th January, Republic Day, at a resort in Mulshi area of Pune. On the complaint of the victim, the police have registered a case against the accused Viraj and started investigating the case.
In the complaint given to the police, the victim told that about a year ago she had befriended Viraj through social media. After this, the accused divorced his wife and gave her the promise of marriage. After this, the accused took her to this resort and raped her several times. Whenever she tried to protest, the accused put a pistol on her temple and threatened to kill her.
Raped for six months
The victim told that the accused took her to resorts in Vimannagar and Mulshi area from 27 August 2023 to 26 January 2024 and raped her. The victim told the police that when he was satisfied, the accused stopped picking up her phone. When he met the accused and interrogated him in this regard, the accused once again put the pistol on his temple.
The accused is connected to politics
Threatened to shoot and said that he would not marry her. The accused warned that if she went to the police in this regard, he would get her killed. According to the police, the accused Viraj Patil is a person with political background. The victim is an actress. According to the police, the accused has not been arrested yet. However, if the guilt is confirmed during the investigation, the accused can be arrested.
