What is the whole matter?
According to local media reports, the accident occurred on a coastal highway that connects the beach-front cities of Mazatlán and Los Mochis. There were more than 30 passengers in the bus, which collided with a truck. Roy Navarrete, director of the state civil defense office, said the crash occurred in Elota Township, near the port city of Mazatlan. He told that there were 37 people in the bus.

According to reports, highway traffic came to a halt after the accident. The seriousness of the accident can be seen in the pictures that have surfaced. The vehicles were engulfed in fire from all sides and smoke was coming out of them. Emergency responders were rushing to the scene. Due to the seriousness of the incident, the highway had to be closed due to safety reasons.
