Dhaka: The students in Bangladesh who overthrew Sheikh Hasina and forced her to leave the country, are going to gather at Shahid Minar in Dhaka today. The aim of the students is to change the constitution of the country. According to the information, about 30 lakh students are going to gather in Dhaka today. The interim government of Muhammad Yunus is also seen kneeling before the students. The member secretary of the organization, Arif Sohail, while announcing the program, urged the general public to participate in it.
It is being told that the protesting students can gather at Shahid Minar in Dhaka at 3 pm. During this time, a dispute between the students and the police is possible. The police can use lathicharge, tear gas or water cannons to disperse the crowd.
The name of Bangladesh can be changed
It is being claimed that the name of Bangladesh can be changed before the constitution is changed. The student organizations want to name the country as Islamic Republic of Bangladesh, Islamic Republic of Bangladesh or Islamic Republic of East Pakistan. The most likely possibility is that in case of changing the name, there can be a consensus on the name Islamic Republic of Bangladesh.
No consensus between the government and the protesting students
Bangladeshi media quoted sources as saying that Sharia law can be implemented in the country. Muhammad Yunus can be declared the new president. The army chief and the president of the country can be asked to resign so that the students can get the new constitution of the country implemented according to their wishes. Earlier, a meeting was held between many leaders of the National Civil Committee and the students. The government asked the students not to protest. However, the student organizations are adamant on protesting.
