People in the national capital Delhi are going to get relief from broken roads soon, for which the ministers and MLAs of the Delhi government have come out on the roads since this morning and are inspecting every meter of 1400 km long roads of PWD. After the inspection, PWD has been given the target of making these roads pothole-free. Former Deputy CM Manish Sisodia and Minister Saurabh Bhardwaj reached East Delhi at 6 am on Monday.
Kejriwal had written a letter
Actually Arvind Kejriwal had written a letter to CM Atishi regarding the condition of the roads, after which a decision was taken in the All Minister Meeting of Aam Aadmi Party to inspect the roads of Delhi and fix them. After this, CM Atishi told in a press conference that the roads of Delhi will be inspected in the next one week, after which the PWD will be given the target of making these roads pothole-free. Atishi further said, on Friday, Arvind Kejriwal gave a letter in the Assembly and said that the roads will be repaired on a war footing.
Target to make the capital pothole free by Diwali
CM Atishi said, “We held a meeting of ministers in the Delhi Secretariat and reviewed 1400 km of PWD roads. The CM announced that from Monday all the ministers will hit the roads, I myself will go to South and South East Delhi. We will hit the roads and see what is needed where. The party has set a target to make Delhi pothole free by Diwali.”

Swati Maliwal took a jibe
At the same time, Swati Maliwal has taken a jibe at the AAP government by posting on social media on this whole matter. He posted pictures of bad roads in Delhi’s Kiradi area on his social media handle X and wrote, “CM 1 had to write a letter to CM 2 to tell him that the roads in Delhi are very bad. CM 2 was the minister of PWD and dozens of ministries for many months but she did not know that the public is facing such a problem.”
Further he wrote, “After my last tweet, now their attention has turned to Mundka. Now look at this picture of Kiradi’s bad condition, when will CM 1 and CM 2 come here for inspection?”
