The RJD has strongly criticized Maithili Thakur, MLA from Alinagar, Bihar, for her statement about Dhritarashtra and Duryodhana. RJD leader Khesari Lal said that people sometimes make such comments when they achieve success at a young age. RJD Working President Tejashwi Yadav, meanwhile, dismissed Maithili Thakur’s statement about his party’s governance in Bihar as inaccurate.
Regarding BJP MLA Maithili Thakur’s comments about Lalu Prasad Yadav and Tejashwi Yadav in the Bihar Assembly, actor and singer Khesari Lal Yadav said that her knowledge is limited. When people achieve success at a young age, they sometimes make such comments. Therefore, there is a need for educated people. Using such language is completely wrong. The people have elected you to work for their benefit, so you should focus on that. Humiliating someone or speaking ill of others does not benefit the public.

What did Tejashwi Yadav say?
In his post, Tejashwi Yadav warned that some people think they have complete knowledge of politics as soon as they become MLAs. Without even understanding the ABCs of legislature, they have the audacity to taunt the “people’s leader.” Tejashwi Yadav also targeted Maithili Thakur for remaining silent on the rape and murder of a Dalit girl in Darbhanga district a few weeks ago, Maithili’s own constituency.
Opposition leader Yadav did not name the BJP MLA, but in his social media post, he criticized the first-time MLA. She attached a photo of the man and strongly condemned his statement. Speaking in the Assembly, Maithili Thakur compared RJD president Lalu Prasad Yadav’s affection for his younger son, Yadav, to the blind King Dhritarashtra of Hastinapur’s affection for Prince Duryodhana.
Although Maithili didn’t name Tejashwi Yadav or his party, she gave ample indication of what she was trying to say by referring to Bihar before 2005, the year the RJD was ousted from power.
