A case of rape of a nurse of a private hospital has come to light in Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh. The doctor of the hospital raped the nurse after tying her up. Two ward boys of the hospital are also involved in this incident. The police have conducted a medical examination of the victim. The accused doctor has been arrested on the complaint of her father. Both the ward boys have been taken into custody for questioning.
The father of the victim gave a complaint letter to the police in the Dilari police station of the district and told that his 20-year-old daughter has been working as a nurse in a private hospital located on Thakurdwara-Kashipur Road for the last 10 months. On Saturday evening at around seven o’clock, his daughter reached the hospital from home to do her duty. The victim’s father alleged in the complaint that a nurse in the hospital told his daughter as part of a conspiracy that Dr. Shahnawaz has called her to his room to talk.
The doctor raped her after tying her up
The victim’s father told that after the nurse gave the information, the daughter refused to go to the doctor’s room. On this, the hospital’s ward boy Junaid and Mehnaz forcefully took her to the room above Dr. Shahnawaz’s hospital. They locked the room from outside. It is alleged that around 12 o’clock late night, the doctor held his daughter hostage and raped her. The doctor threatened to kill the victim by using casteist words.
Accused doctor arrested
On the complaint of the father, the police registered a case and arrested the accused doctor. The police has sent him to jail. Both the accused ward boys have been taken into custody by the police for questioning. Legal action is also being taken against them by the police. The police has got the victim medically examined in the government hospital. Her statement is being recorded.
In this case, the police circle officer Rajesh Kumar said that a case has been registered in Dilari police station on the complaint of the victim’s father. Seeing the seriousness of the case, the accused doctor has been arrested immediately. The victim’s medical examination has been done. Apart from this, 2 employees posted in the hospital have been taken into custody for questioning. They are being questioned by the police.
