Motihari: Case filed against RJD MLA and District President Manoj Yadav in Motihari, Bihar, RJD MLA accused of obstructing road construction and showing highhandedness

Motihari: A case has been registered against RJD MLA and District President Manoj Yadav in Motihari, Bihar. The RJD MLA is accused of obstructing road construction and showing arrogance. An NHAI official has registered a case against the MLA. According to the information, the road is being closed near Deephu turn in Kotwa police station area. It is alleged that the MLA removed the barricades installed there. After this there was a lot of ruckus there. At the same time, MLA Manoj Yadav said on Facebook that he is ready to face lakhs of FIRs for the convenience of the public.

MLA accused of obstructing government work

Let us tell you that a cut road was made for many years in the road construction on NH 27 near Deepu Chowk on Kotwa to Gopalganj road. Due to which the people around had the convenience of coming and going from their village to Chowk Chowk. Two days ago, the NHAI team closed the cut road by barricading. As soon as the information was received, MLA Manoj Yadav reached the spot and removed the barricading.

NHAI officer lodged FIR

In this case, the NHAI officer has filed an FIR by applying in Kotwa police station. The accused named in the FIR is East Champaran District RJD President cum Kalyanpur MLA Manoj Yadav. Also, the NHAI officer has sent a copy of the application given in the police station to his senior officer including the District Magistrate.

Police gave this information

According to the statement issued by the Superintendent of Police, an FIR has been registered against the MLA on the charge of obstructing government work on the application of NHAI. In the light of the order received from the Sub-Divisional Officer, Sadar on 12.04.2025, the illegal cut on NH-27 was being closed by the Circle Officer Kotwa, Police Station Head Kotwa Police Station and NHAI officer. During this, MLA Manoj Kumar Yadav along with his supporters prevented the closure of the illegal cut and the cut which was closed was uprooted by the MLA supporters.

On the other hand, SDPO Jitesh Pandey has said that an application has been received at Kotwa police station for obstructing road construction and damaging material along with obstructing government work by an NHI officer. In which case a preliminary FIR has been registered and action is being taken.
