MP Crime News: Chhindwara police has arrested the wife and her lover along with another youth in the case of murder of a youth. Actually, on January 20, the body of a youth was found on the banks of Kulbehra river in Parasia Road. Earlier this case was considered to be an accident.
The postmortem report revealed that the youth was strangled to death. When the investigation proceeded, the police team was also shocked to know the truth. The deceased’s wife had conspired to kill him along with her lover. The accused lover, along with his accomplice, killed him and threw the body in the Kulbehra river.
First made him drink alcohol
SP Ajay Pandey said that 32-year-old Vinita Salam, wife of 35-year-old Kewal Sallam, a resident of Semardhana, had a love affair with Manish Sahu, a resident of Khunajhirkalan. When Kewal came to know about this, he used to quarrel with Vinita. On this, Vinita, along with her lover Manish Sahu, conspired to kill her husband Kewal. On 18 January, Manish Sahu along with his friend Vikas Sahu first made Kewal drink alcohol and took him to Kulbehra river and strangled him to death.
Misled by calling the murder an accident
Calling the murder an accident, the accused threw the body in the river. Police have arrested accused Vinita Salam, Manish Sahu and Vikas Sahu. The team that solved the murder case includes TI Govind Singh Rajput and other staff.
The wife of the deceased had filed a report that on 18 January, the husband had left saying that he was going to his sister’s house in Rohan Khurd. But in the meantime, the wife did not even get any information about the husband from her sister-in-law. On the day of the incident, the wife talked to the deceased 6 times before his mobile was switched off but did not tell the police about it. On the basis of suspicion, the police interrogated the accused wife in which she confessed to plotting to kill her husband along with her lover.
