Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the ‘Developed India Developed Madhya Pradesh’ program today through video conferencing. During this, the Prime Minister will lay the foundation stone of many development projects worth more than Rs 16,961 crore in Madhya Pradesh and dedicate it to the country. These include important sectors like irrigation, electricity, roads, railways, water supply, coal, industry.
Besides, PM Modi will also launch the Cyber Tehsil Project in the state. Vikramaditya will inaugurate the Vedic clock in Ujjain. PM’s program will be telecast live at 500 places in the state.

PM Modi will also lay the foundation stone of irrigation projects worth more than Rs 5500 crore. These projects include Upper Narmada Project, Raghavpur and Basaniya Multipurpose Project. With these projects, more than 75 thousand hectares of agricultural land will be irrigated in Dindori, Anuppur and Mandla districts. Electricity supply in this area will increase and drinking water crisis will also end.
PM will dedicate to the nation two small irrigation projects worth more than Rs 800 crore in the state. These include Parsdoh Micro Irrigation Project and Aulia Micro Irrigation Project. These micro irrigation projects will irrigate more than 26 thousand hectares of area in Betul and Khandwa districts.
The Prime Minister will also dedicate to the nation three railway projects built at a cost of more than Rs 2200 crore. These projects include Veerangana Lakshmibai third line project on Jhansi-Jakhlaun and Dhaura-Agasod route, gauge conversion project on New Sumavali-Jora Alapur railway line and Powarkheda-Jujharpur railway line flyover project. These projects will increase rail connectivity and contribute to the socio-economic development of the region.
To speed up industrial development in Madhya Pradesh, the Prime Minister will also lay the foundation stone of industrial projects worth about Rs 1000 crore. These projects include Big Industrial Park at Ratlam, Mega Leather, Footwear and Accessories Center at Sitapur in Morena district, Plug and Play Park for Apparel Industry at Indore, Industrial Park Mandsaur (Jaggakhedi Phase-2) and Industrial Park Pithampur in Dhar district. PM will dedicate projects worth more than Rs 1000 crore in coal sector to the country. These include Jayant OCP CHP Silo, NCL Singrauli and Dudhichua OCP CHP-Silo. Strengthening the power sector in the state, Prime Minister Modi will lay the foundation stone of six substations located in Panna, Raisen, Chhindwara and Narmadapuram districts. These substations will benefit the people of 11 districts of the state, Bhopal, Panna, Raisen, Chhindwara, Narmadapuram, Vidisha, Sagar, Damoh, Chhatarpur, Harda and Sehore. The industries of Mandideep Industrial Area will also benefit from these substations.
The Prime Minister will lay the foundation stone for various projects worth about Rs 880 crore under AMRUT 2.0 and other schemes to enhance and strengthen water supply systems in several districts across the state. The Prime Minister will also dedicate to the nation the project to increase water supply in Khargone.
Cyber Tehsil Project in Madhya Pradesh is a big step towards improving the delivery system of government services. This will result in complete paperless and faceless online settlement of Khasra sale and purchase from beginning to end and record improvement in revenue records.
