Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Madhya Pradesh today and inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of several development projects worth about Rs 7,300 crore in the tribal-dominated Jhabua district. An official release said that Prime Minister Modi will give the monthly installment of the food subsidy scheme to about two lakh women beneficiaries. Under this scheme, Rs 1,500 per month is provided for nutritious food to women of various special backward tribes of Madhya Pradesh.
Will hand over ‘rights records’ to 1.75 lakh people
The PMO release said it will provide 1.75 lakh ‘Adhikar Adhikar’ (record of rights) to the beneficiaries of the Swamitva scheme, which will be documentary evidence for people’s right to their land. Prime Minister will also lay the foundation stone of Tantya Mama Bhil University. To be developed at a cost of Rs 170 crore, the university will provide world-class infrastructure for the holistic development of students.
Will start ‘Pradhanmantri Adarsh Gram Yojana’
Prime Minister Modi will also transfer funds worth Rs 55.9 crore to 559 villages under the ‘Pradhan Mantri Adarsh Gram Yojana’, which will be used for various types of construction activities. Which includes Anganwadi buildings, fair price shops, health centres, additional rooms in schools, internal roads etc. The Prime Minister will lay the foundation stone of ‘CM Rise School’ in Jhabua. This school will integrate technology to provide modern facilities like smart classes, e-library to the students. He will lay the foundation stone of many projects. The projects whose foundation stone will be laid include ‘Talawada Project’ which is a drinking water supply scheme for more than a thousand villages of Dhar and Ratlam. The Prime Minister will dedicate to the nation the ‘Tap Water Scheme’ for 50 Gram Panchayats of Jhabua, which will provide tap water to about 11,000 houses.
Will also give gifts to many railway projects
Apart from this, PM Modi will also inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of many railway projects. These also include laying the foundation stone for redevelopment of Ratlam Railway Station and Meghnagar Railway Station. Redevelopment of these stations will be done under Amrit Bharat Station Scheme. The railway projects that will be dedicated to the nation include doubling of Indore-Dewas-Ujjain C Cabin Railway line, Itarsi-North-South grade separator with yard remodelling, and third line connecting Barkheda-Budhani-Itarsi. Apart from this, Modi will also dedicate to the nation several road development projects worth more than Rs 3,275 crore in Madhya Pradesh.
