A class 10 student died due to electric shock from AC wiring in Naigaon, adjacent to Mumbai. This accident happened while playing badminton. The deceased student was playing badminton with his friends inside the society. Meanwhile, his shuttlecock got stuck in the window of a house on the first floor. The student climbed the window to take out the shuttlecock. Meanwhile, he got an electric shock and got stuck to the window. A friend of the student tried to take him out, but both of them fell away due to the electric shock. After this, the other boys also came, but by then it was too late.
The incident took place in a complex in Naigaon, adjacent to Mumbai. On Friday evening, some children were playing badminton inside the society. 15-year-old class 10 student Akash Santosh Sahu was also playing with his friends. Meanwhile, he died while trying to take out the shuttle. CCTV footage of this incident has also surfaced.
Police started investigation
It is being told that Akash, a class 10 student, was playing badminton with his friends in the society compound at around 7 pm. During this, the shuttlecock got stuck in the window of a flat on the first floor. When he went up to pull the shuttle, Akash got a strong shock of AC current from the window and he fell down there. The entire incident was captured in the CCTV camera of the society and the police have started investigation. How the current coming out of the AC became so strong and who is responsible for this, is being investigated.
Friends’ efforts did not work
It can be seen in the CCTV video that after getting the electric shock, Akash falls unconscious. His four friends run to him and also bring a bottle of water. However, when Akash does not regain consciousness even after pouring water and shaking him a lot, his friends pick him up and take him away.
