An MLA of the Bharatiya Janata Party has raised this issue and said that many shopkeepers in Maharashtra are selling analog paneer in the name of real paneer. Speaking on this issue, BJP MLA Vikram Pachpute said that he will raise this issue in the assembly. Pachpute also reached the assembly on Wednesday with real and fake paneer. There is a lot of difference in the prices of real and analog paneer
Let us tell you that after the complaint of BJP MLA Vikram Pachpute regarding paneer, FDA has raided many places in Maharashtra and seized analog paneer worth lakhs of rupees which was being sold as real paneer. The special thing is that while real paneer is sold for about Rs 400 per kg, the price of analog paneer is only between Rs 200-250. However, many shopkeepers sell analog or fake paneer to customers by calling it real and in a way cheat their pocket as well as health.
Analog paneer is made from vegetable oil and other things
Pachpute said that real paneer is a good source of protein whereas analog paneer is a kind of oil ball which is made from vegetable oils etc., and dairy products are not used in making it. He said that despite this, many shopkeepers sell analog paneer in the name of real paneer. The BJP MLA showed the difference between real paneer and analog paneer and also informed about the harm it causes to health. Let us tell you that selling analog paneer is not a crime but selling analog paneer by calling it real paneer is a crime legally.
