Mumbai Crime News: A shocking case has come to light from Malavani area of Mumbai, where the wife along with her lover killed her own husband. The matter started looking even more serious when the police came to know that the woman committed this murder in front of her young children.
According to the initial information, the incident happened last Saturday (8 February). After the murder, both of them together disposed of the husband’s body and to avoid suspicion, went to the police station and also lodged a complaint about the disappearance of husband Rajesh Chauhan.
Rajesh Chauhan has a 10-year-old daughter and an 8-year-old son. The incident came to light when the deceased’s wife Pooja and her husband’s friend Imran Mansuri reached Malavani police station in Mumbai last Saturday and lodged a complaint about Rajesh being missing.
This is how the police got suspicious
On the basis of the complaint received by the police, the police started searching the CCTV footage of the surrounding area. During this, they saw in a CCTV footage that the wife, her friend and Rajesh were going somewhere triple seat on a bike, the police got suspicious after seeing the CCTV footage. After this, the police started questioning her. At first, she gave misleading answers which increased the suspicion of the police, but later when the police furthered the interrogation, the woman confessed her crime.
Murdered in front of children
An officer said that the deceased and the accused are residents of Faizabad district of Uttar Pradesh. Mansuri came to Mumbai three months ago and due to lack of a place to live, Chauhan gave him shelter, food and helped him get a job, but in the meantime, a love affair started between the deceased’s wife and his friend. Last Saturday, both of them together planned to kill Rajesh and made him drink alcohol and killed his father in front of the children.
