Today the TMC leader has given a controversial statement on the issue of CAA. TMC leader Majid Memon said while talking to India TV, “What kind of law is this that you will take a Hindu terrorist and not a holy Muslim religious leader? Right now you are not able to handle the half-naked, homeless, unemployed Indians, like this.” Why am I taking more burden on my head?”
Why was it not implemented earlier?
Maharashtra TMC working committee member Majid Memon further said that why the government slept for 4 years, why was it not implemented earlier. We can accept 1 year of Covid but even after that thousands of works were done then why was it not implemented earlier. It is true that this law will not affect the Muslim citizens of India but it is important to see what effect it will have on the country. There is a population of 142 crores. We are not able to control the population, so where will these lakhs of people who will come be kept, there is no space even in the jail.
If Muslims want to come then why are they being stopped?
TMC leader Memon said that the partition happened 75 years ago, four generations have passed. There are many Muslims in India whose ancestors are still alive there. If Muslims want to come then why are they being stopped, are all Muslims terrorists? This law that you have made by keeping Muslims aside is against the Constitution.
After this Memon said, “Will you take a Hindu terrorist and not a holy Muslim religious leader? What kind of law is this? If you want to do any work according to human values, there should be no discrimination in it.”
Gave clarification on counter questioning
Then when we asked a counter question on the word Hindu terrorist, Majid regained his composure and started clarifying that I am not saying that you are taking a Hindu terrorist, I am giving the example of a pious Muslim leader or a pious Muslim man and a Hindu. You will choose Hindu dishonest man among dishonest man, I am talking about Muslims and Sikhs.
Told the countrymen – half naked, unemployed without any reason
Memon said, “You have closed the door for Muslims, there are 80 percent Hindus in the country and by inviting them it becomes 90 percent and you can take advantage of it, is this what BJP wants? Now you are half-naked, helpless unemployed Indians. If you are not able to handle it, then why are you taking more burden on your head?
