Before the wife’s funeral procession could begin, the husband also passed away, and then a joint funeral procession was held for the couple, and both were cremated on the same pyre. This incident left everyone emotional.

What is the whole story?
A very heartbreaking and emotional incident came to light on Tuesday from the Lallu Pokhar locality of Munger district. This incident brought tears to everyone’s eyes. Just before the wife’s funeral procession was to begin, the husband also passed away. Following this, a joint funeral procession was held for the couple, and both were cremated on the same pyre.

According to the information received, Ahilya Devi, the 82-year-old wife of Vishwanath Singh, a respected advocate of the Munger Civil Court and former professor at Vishwanath Singh Law College, also passed away.

The news of the father’s death the day after the mother’s death brought immense sorrow to the entire family, and the relatives were inconsolably grief-stricken. As soon as the news of Vishwanath Singh’s death spread, people from the neighborhood and several senior advocates of the Munger court reached his house and offered condolences to the family.

About the deceased:
Vishwanath Singh was a distinguished advocate and also a professor at Vishwanath Singh Law College, Munger. He educated many students in the field of law, many of whom are now serving as advocates in the Munger court. He married Ahilya Devi, a resident of Shahpur in Bhagalpur district, in 1961. The couple had three sons and two daughters, all of whom are married.

The eldest son, Shailesh Kumar, is a teacher, the second son, Vibhesh Kumar, is an advocate, while the third son, Rakesh Kumar, has retired from the bank. Son Shailesh Kumar said that his mother passed away on Monday, and her funeral procession was to be held on Tuesday, but before that, his father also passed away. In this poignant moment, both bodies were carried in a joint funeral procession, and their last rites were performed on the same pyre. The sight of the husband and wife being cremated together plunged the entire neighborhood and surrounding area into mourning. Everyone was deeply moved by the scene and bid farewell to the couple with tearful eyes.
