Nagpur: Union Minister Nitin Gadkari is known for his outspokenness. During an event held in Nagpur on Saturday, he said that he has no shortage of money. He has ₹15 lakh crore lying around, but there’s a shortage of workers. Gadkari made this statement at an event organized by the Association of Industry Development.
Money is in the market, there’s a shortage of workers.
In his address, Nitin Gadkari said, “I work. I have no shortage of money. I have ₹15 lakh crore lying around, but I can’t spend it. There’s a shortage of workers. Money is in the market. If you go, you’ll see people standing with money, but nothing is happening. But the day you start working, you’ll realize so many people will come, so many jobs will be created that you won’t be able to provide them. There’s so much potential.”
5 Lakh New Jobs in 5 Years
Union Minister Nitin Gadkari called for a pledge to create 5 lakh new jobs in the next 5 years, saying that we should contribute to Vidarbha’s economic growth. This will lead to economic growth, enable Nagpur to become a smart city, and develop many villages.
Emphasis on Employment Growth
Gadkari said that we want to increase employment growth, and our objective is to create jobs for the youth of Vidarbha. Addressing the Association for Industry Development, Gadkari said that your target should be to provide employment to approximately 5 lakh people in 5 years. Union Minister Gadkari said that it is a coincidence that whatever he says, his target is achieved. Gadkari said that when MIHAN (Multi-modal International Hub Airport at Nagpur) was being built in Nagpur, some people protested. At that time, we had said that we would provide employment to 1 lakh people, and 1 lakh people have already been employed.
