Nagpur Violence: The accused in the Nagpur violence case got relief whose property was to be demolished by bulldozer, the High Court issued an order in this regard and reprimanded the administration

Nagpur VOILENCE: The Nagpur bench of the Bombay High Court has stayed the demolition proceedings against the properties of the accused in the violence case. Faheem Khan and Yusuf Sheikh are among these accused. They had filed a petition in the High Court against the demolition. The police demolished Faheem Khan’s house today (March 24). The court has also reprimanded the administration for its arbitrary attitude.

The High Court expressed concern over this matter

The High Court expressed concern over the lack of hearing of the property owners who were allegedly responsible for the illegal construction. Disappointment was expressed over the fact that they were not heard before the demolition proceedings began. In fact, Faheem Khan’s property was demolished in the afternoon even before the High Court order came. This property is registered in the name of his wife.

Government will have to answer now

The High Court has directed the government and the Municipal Corporation to file a reply in this case and the next hearing of the case will now be held on April 15. More than 100 people were arrested while taking action after the violence broke out in Nagpur. 21 minors are also among the accused.

Notice was issued to Faheem Khan

It is said that Faheem Khan is the mastermind of Nagpur violence. Bulldozer was run on Faheem Khan’s illegal property in the presence of police-administration. This house is built in 86 square meters. Faheem runs a shop in Mominpura, Nagpur. A notice was issued against Faheem Khan on March 21. He was told to remove the illegal construction himself within 24 hours.

A rumour spread during the protest against Aurangzeb’s tomb in Nagpur due to which people took to the streets and started beating whoever they saw. During this, many vehicles were damaged and houses and shops were set on fire. Many policemen were also injured in the incident.
