A major rail accident was averted in Chandauli, Uttar Pradesh. Here the train coming from Delhi suddenly split into two parts. Nandan Kanan Express was going from Anand Vihar to Puri in Odisha. The coupling of the train suddenly broke near Deen Dayal Upadhyay Junction in Chandauli. Due to this the train split into two parts.
According to the information, the train number 12876 Nandan Kanan Express split into two parts due to the coupling of the sleeper coach S4 bogie breaking. There was a commotion there in no time. The passengers on the train were terrified. At present the train is being repaired.
Fatehpur rail accident
Earlier, a major rail accident was averted in Fatehpur as well. Here two goods trains collided with each other on the same track. The engine was badly damaged in the accident. These goods trains collided in Khaga town. The drivers of both the trains were badly injured in the accident. The first goods train was standing on the DFCCIL track in Pambhipur of Khaga Kotwali area due to lack of signal. It was hit from behind by another freight train. Thankfully, no one died in this accident.
Railway accident in Bihar
Two days ago, the Mithila Express was saved from derailment due to the presence of mind of the driver of the train. Mithila Express was coming from Howrah to Raxaul Junction. Then, due to the closure of the railway crossing on the Raxaul canal, a bike rider was trying to cross the track from the side. But the bike got stuck in the middle of the rail track. The bike rider tried his best to take his bike out but he failed. Meanwhile, Mithila Express came blowing the horn repeatedly. The bike rider left the bike in the middle of the track and moved away from there. Then the driver of the train stopped the train by applying emergency brakes, but the train moved forward dragging the bike for some distance. After that, the driver got down from the train and got the bike removed and after informing the RPF, the train departed for Raxaul Junction.
