NASA has made preparations to bring back the two passengers stranded in space to Earth. Both the passengers will be brought back soon.

Cape Canaveral (USA): Preparations have been made to bring back to Earth the two astronauts who have been stranded in space for several months due to a technical fault in the spacecraft. Both the passengers will be brought back safely soon. Among them is Indian-origin astronaut Sunita Williams, whose return is also awaited by many Indians. According to NASA, two astronauts of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) stranded on the space station, including Williams, can be brought back to Earth a little earlier than scheduled.

US space agency NASA said on Tuesday that SpaceX will change the capsule for upcoming astronaut flights, so that Butch Wilmore and Suni (Sunita) Williams can be brought back in mid-March instead of late March or early April. They have been stranded on the International Space Station for more than eight months. Steve Stich, manager of NASA’s Commercial Crew Program, said in a statement, “Space travel is full of unexpected challenges.”

The new capsule will be tested on March 12
The test pilots were to be brought back on Boeing’s Starliner capsule in June. But the capsule had so much trouble reaching the space station that NASA decided to bring it back empty. SpaceX then delayed sending a new capsule in view of the need for more preparations, which further delayed the mission to bring Wilmore and Williams back. Now the new capsule will be launched on March 12. This old capsule has already been handed over to a private crew.
