Nashik: A shameful news has come out from Maharashtra’s Nashik district. According to information given by a police officer, a student was allegedly raped by her school principal in his house. In this case, a teacher of the school is also accused of being involved in the crime. On Saturday, the police arrested the private school principal Tukaram Govind Sable and teacher Gorakhnath Maruti Joshi on charges of raping a 13-year-old student.
The principal sent the student home after raping her
Giving information about the incident, the police said that this barbaric act with the minor student took place on Friday in Igatpuri taluka. According to the police, the class teacher of the sixth class student, Gorakhnath Maruti Joshi, took her to the house of 53-year-old principal Tukaram Govind Sable. Sable is accused of raping a minor student of his own school in his house. After raping the student, the principal sent her home. Giving information about the incident, the officer further said that the girl started feeling uneasy at home.
Police arrested both the accused
Seeing the girl getting upset, her family members questioned her after which she told everything. The victim told them how she was taken to the principal’s house and sexually assaulted. After this, the family contacted the police after which both were arrested. The officer said that a case has been registered against the school principal Sable and teacher Joshi under BNS and POCSO Act and the matter is being investigated. Meanwhile, angry villagers protested at the school and demanded justice for the girl and strict action against those involved in it.
