Nature’s fury in America, tornado, dust storm and forest fire caused devastation, at least 39 people died

Piedmont: Tornadoes and strong winds in many parts of the US have caused heavy damage to many buildings, including houses, and at least 39 people have died. National Weather Service meteorologist Cody Snell said tornado warnings remain in place for parts of the Carolinas, eastern Georgia and northern Florida. He said the main threat would be destructive winds. Meteorologists have described the storm as high risk. However, experts say such weather is not unusual in March.

Many people died

Dallas County Sheriff Michael L. Grantham said on Sunday that at least three people died in central Alabama due to tornadoes. Missouri resident Dakota Henderson said that when he and others started a rescue operation for neighbors in Wayne County, which was badly affected by the tornado, on Friday night, five bodies were found lying in the rubble outside his relative’s house. Officials said at least 12 people died in tornadoes in Missouri.

Emergency declared

Mississippi Governor Tate Reeves said late Saturday that six people were killed and three others were missing in three counties. He said the tornado has moved eastward toward Alabama, where homes have been damaged and roads blocked. Officials confirmed three deaths in Arkansas and Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders has declared a state of emergency. The governor of Georgia has also declared a state of emergency in the state. About 12 people died on Friday due to tornadoes and dust storms in the state.

According to the ‘State Highway Patrol’, eight people were killed on a Kansas highway when at least 50 vehicles collided. Officials said three people were killed in car accidents caused by a dust storm in Amarillo in the Texas Panhandle. Evacuation orders have been issued for some areas of Oklahoma due to the fire. More than 130 fires have been reported across the state and about 300 homes have been damaged or destroyed. Oklahoma Governor Kevin Stitt has said that about 689 square kilometers of area has burned. He said that his own house northeast of Oklahoma City has also burned.
